Rajesh Gupta, a pilgrim from Delhi, expressed his excitement and satisfaction with the arrangements. He remarked on the excellent facilities and security provided by the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), enhancing the overall pilgrimage experience.
Krishna Kumar, undertaking his 25th journey to Amarnath, shared his positive experiences, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic when he utilised the helicopter route. He praised the transportation and camp facilities, as well as the cooperation from the military, which he credits for the successful completion of his pilgrimage.
Ajay Khajuria, a pilgrim from Jammu, highlighted the impressive security measures as he embarked on his journey to Baltal. He expressed happiness and confidence in the arrangements made for the pilgrimage.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi extended his heartfelt wishes to the pilgrims on June 29, marking the commencement of the yatra. In his message on social media platform X, he conveyed his hopes for the prosperity and well-being of all devotees partaking in the pilgrimage.
The Amarnath Yatra is a significant religious pilgrimage lasting 45 days, during which pilgrims undertake a challenging journey to the Amarnath Cave. This pilgrimage holds immense spiritual importance for devotees of Lord Shiva, seeking the blessings of Baba Barfani.
The government has made extensive preparations to ensure the safety and comfort of the pilgrims. Amidst recent terrorist attacks in Jammu and Kashmir, the administration is focused on providing a secure environment, with comprehensive measures in place to mitigate any potential threats.
