The discussions took place on the forthcoming COP-28 of UNFCCC under UAE's Presidency. Jaber briefed the Prime Minister on UAE's approach to the important meeting on climate change, the Ministry of External Affairs said in a statement
Prime Minister conveyed India's full support to UAE for its COP-28 Presidency, it said. Prime Minister Modi also highlighted India's efforts and initiatives to address climate change, including International SolarAlliance, Coalition for Disaster Resilient Infrastructure, International Year of Millets and Mission Lifestyle for Environment (LiFE)
The discussions also covered energy cooperation between India and UAE, the statement said. The 2023 United Nations Climate Change Conference or Conference of the Parties of the UNFCCC, more commonly referred to as COP28, will be the 28th United Nations Climate Change conference, held from November 30 until December 12 at the Expo City, Dubai
