Ayurveda Doctors Can Now Perform Surgery; Experts Speak Up

The Government of India has now allowed, postgraduate degree holders of Ayurveda to perform a variety of surgeries including orthopaedic, ophthalmology, ENT, and dental procedures. While we at mid-day got in touch with experts to know their views on the same, we also spoke to a few Mumbaikars who shared their views on getting surgical treatments from doctors of Ayurveda.
