Devotees, Naga Sadhus converge in Nashik for royal bath at Kumbh Mela

Tens of thousands of ash-smeared Naga (naked) sadhus (holy Hindu men) and elated pilgrims took a dip in the waters of a reservoir on the banks of sacred Godavari river, marking the royal bath (shahi snan) of the Kumbh Mela (pitcher festival) in Nashik city of Maharashtra on Friday.
