Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s campaign in Punjab is beginning today but what remains the highlight is - the farmers protest. For the unaware, farmers mainly from the states of Punjab and Haryana are seeking a law that would guarantee minimum prices for 23 crops to help stabilize their incomes. And what is happening currently is an extension of that.
