‘Bajrangi Gunde…’- Chhattisgarh CM Bhupesh Baghel Comes In Support Of ‘Besharam’ Song

Amid the controversy over the song `Besharam Rang` from the upcoming Bollywood film `Pathaan`, Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel has come in support for the film. He slammed those who have been protesting against the song and called them "Bajrangi goons". Baghel also took a dig at leaders from the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), who earlier acted in films, saying that they have also performed in the color saffron.Soon after the release of the first song of the film `Besharam Rang`, the film ran into a controversy for allegedly hurting religious sentiments of the people. Several BJP leaders have called for boycott of pathan. Showing his positive stance amid the ‘Pathaan’ controversy, Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan at the Kolkata International Film Festival, spoke on his take on the role of social media in Cinema. Pathaan, starring Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone, is scheduled to release on January 25, 2023.
