BJP Slams Kharge Over His ‘Dog’ Remark, Demands Apology

Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge’s scathing attack aimed towards Bharatiya Janata Party and Prime Minister Modi has stirred the BJP leaders. One after another, senior politicians and Modi-Cabinet Minister are coming forward and demanding an apology from the Congress Party President.  Addressing a public meeting during ‘Bharat Jodo Yatra’ in Alwar, Rajasthan, Kharge had zeroed in on the Indo-China clash issue and questioned BJP’s role in the freedom struggle. Several leaders including Pralhad Josi, Meenakshi Lekhi, Ramdas Athavle, Piyush Goyal, Kiren Rijju demanded Kharge’s apology. However, Mallikarjun Kharge was quick to counterattack after BJP leaders fumed at him over his remark. He defended himself in the Rajya Sabha after BJP leaders attacked him.
