Manipur Violence: 'Capital punishment for the accused", Manipur CM Biren Singh

A day after the video of Manipur women brutalised went viral, state Chief Minister N Biren Singh on July 20 termed it as a crime against humanity and assured that the government will ensure capital punishment for the accused. “We saw the video and I felt so bad, it`s a crime against humanity. I immediately ordered the police to arrest the culprits and the state government will try to ensure capital punishment for the accused. Every human being should condemn it,” he added.
