Every time Lauren Harry feels a sneeze coming on, she has to brace herself for a whole load of pain

The 20-year-old's shoulders dislocate with every sudden jolt and she has to go to hospital to have them put back in place, the Mirror reported.

At its worst, it can happen 20 times a day after a cough, a stumble, or the slightest jolt - even driving over a speed bump.

Docs believe she has Ehlers-Danlos syndrome, a genetic condition which means her collagen is too weak to hold her limbs in place.

Last week alone she went to A and E four times where she is given gas before her limbs are wrestled back into place.

Lauren, from Wrexham, north Wales, first experienced pains in her legs at the age of 11, but was told it was due to growing pains.

But at the age of 15 she fell off her crutches, injuring her shoulder in the process, and since then her joints, including her knees and fingers, have regularly dislocated.

She said that it really hurts but she hardly cries. She doesn't want other people to see me in pain.

Harry, who works at McDonald's in Chester, was unable to complete her AS levels because of her condition, and has been given stabilizing surgery on her shoulders on five separate occasions.

She has yet to be tested for Ehlers-Danlos, but is currently seeking funding for specialist treatment at The Royal National Orthopedic Hospital in Stanmore.
