An Irish woman living in New Zealand put her husband for sale on an auction website. Yes, you have read it right! The woman, identified as Linda McAlister, a mother of two, listed her husband John McAlister on the auction site Trade Me.
Linda took this step after John went on a fishing trip for two days, leaving her alone in the home with their two children.
As per The Mirror, Linda, who lives with her family in Rangitikei, New Zealand, said the fishing trip was "not unusual behaviour" from her husband. She said her husband was a "shootin', and fishin' sort of fellow". However, Linda's wasn't amused by John's timing as kids were on school holidays and bedtimes were "slipping later and later".

Meanwhile, the auction did attract 12 bids and saw the bidding rise to USD 100 (around Rs 7,400) by February 1. James Ryan, auction site's policy and compliance manager said, "It was the first time in recent memory they had seen someone list their spouse for sale". However, the site took down the post a few hours later. And John and Linda are still together.
