The Union Law and Justice minister regularly shares important advisory posts regarding travel to Arunachal Pradesh on Twitter. On December 26 also, Rijiju shared a video of himself helping out a car stuck on a snowy road in the state.
"Advise to tourists visiting Tawang in Arunachal Pradesh at this point of time. It is reported that heavy snowfall between Baishakhi, Sela Pass and Nuranang. Pls get proper information before you move because the road is extremely dangerous to drive and temperature goes down to -25!" read the caption.

The post, however, made travellers to Arunachal Pradesh anxious. One Twitter user even wrote, "Dear sir, whatever it may be I've already booked my tickets to Arunachal, don't impose any restrictions, Marega tho marega lekin trip cancel nai hoga."
To this, Rijiju posted a tweet answering the concerns of every netizen planning their trips. "Don't worry brother, you won't die. Have fun and enjoy your trip to Arunachal Pradesh. I'm just giving an advisory for everyone's safety," he wrote.
He also cleared the reason for his concern in another reply to a Twitter user. "Brother, I extend a warm invitation to everyone to visit beautiful Arunachal Pradesh. Just be cautious as many people from plain areas are not aware of slippery road conditions due to snow, freezing cold and less oxygen. But the visit will be fun if you take proper care!"
