The captivating celestial event, an Annular Solar Eclipse, is set to grace skies on Saturday, October 14, this year. The Solar Eclipse, commonly referred to as the 'Ring of Fire,' this phenomenon will be predominantly witnessed over America.
The Annular Solar Eclipse manifests when the Moon comes between the Sun and Earth. During the eclipse, the Moon partially conceals the Sun and creates a stunning ring-like effect. This event has captivated astronomers for its mesmerising view. But only citizens of a few countries will be able to witness this Annular Solar Eclipse.

The October 14 Annular Solar Eclipse will not be seen in India. This celestial event will be confined to the Western Hemisphere.

Those residents residing in the Western Hemisphere (half of the planet Earth that lies west of the Prime Meridian and east of the 180th meridian) will be able to witness the solar eclipse view. The eclipse will trace a narrow trajectory crossing the USA from Oregon to Texas. It will further pass over Mexico's Yucatán Peninsula, parts of Honduras, Nicaragua, Brazil, Costa Rica, Belize, Guatemala, Panama, and Colombia.
A partial Solar Eclipse will be seen from Alaska to Argentina.
As per NASA, the Annular Solar Eclipse will commence in Oregon at 9:13 am (PDT). Individuals residing in India and across the globe have the opportunity to view the solar eclipse through the official NASA broadcast on their YouTube channel.
The live streaming is scheduled to commence at 4:30 pm on October 14, 2023.
