As I talk, the upcoming Asia Cup at Guangzhou, China from November 7 to 25 is on my mind. It is a big tournament for Indian footballers, and I am very excited to perform well in it. We have got 15 days off at the moment, but I am utilising this time for practice and training.
We will travel to Dubai and Doha for a camp before playing against Iraq on November 9. Unfortunately, I won't be able to celebrate Diwali this time. That's how the life of a sportsperson is. Earlier, I had missed my sister's engagement as well.
I am used to missing on festivals and occasions now. It's a sacrifice that every sportsperson has to go make, I guess.
