As 'Sack Sheila' became a trending topic, someone tweeted: 'Why sack her? I think Sheila did a pretty good job in that song!'
Another commented: 'I have lived in Delhi for a year; netas loot the public with brazenness not visible anywhere else in India.'

And K V Sarma J added to the clamour by pointing out that 'Delhi has the highest rate of crime against women 27.6 compared to the national average of 14.1 per 100,000.' Sadly, the honourable CM isn't on Twitter.
Deserving candidates?
One would assume Sachin Tendulkar being considered for a Bharat Ratna would make all of India happy. This was not the case.

A certain Vinay Chandran asked: 'I don't see why sports should not be included in the Bharat Ratna category, but what will the Khel Ratna become?' B N Gupta had another issue: 'If it can be conferred to sportspersons, there are more deserving candidates like Dhyanchand and Kapil Dev.'
Bhuvan N jumped in with this: 'With all due respect to Dhyanchand and Sachin, their achievements don't match up to Anand's.' And this, from someone called Prasad Patkar: 'I just saw a fan page on Facebook saying Salman Khan deserves a Bharat Ratna. Somebody please kill me.'

A number of people spent some time sharing what they thought 'the best sound' in the world was. Options included 'hearing someone you love laugh', 'raindrops hitting your window' and, um, 'the sound of the other person crying after you beat them in a Pokemon battle.'
The last word
Filmmaker Shekhar Kapur's question: 'My heart goes out to the families of innocent people that died in Norway. Why does the world not feel the same for victims in Iraq or Afghanistan?'
