There has been a lot of cricketing activity to mull over recently, but what is occupying prime space in my mind is the need to develop good bench strength for the various Mumbai teams.
We won the Ranji Trophy for the 39th time by beating Karnataka in Mysore recently, but we need good players in the reserves keeping in mind the future. At the Bandra Kurla Complex facility, I will be working towards this along with
my colleagues.
It is important to pick the right kind of talent; cricketers who are intelligent.u00a0 People may say the game has changed, but it's still a sport where you have to get runs and claim wickets. That will
never change.
