A doctorate for Sachin Tendulkar is on my mind right now. Keeping in mind the Little Master's immense contribution to Indian cricket, the members of the Yuva Sena yesterday submitted a proposal to the Mumbai University to award an honorary doctorate to two illustrious Mumbaikars ufffd Tendulkar and Lata Mangeshkar, the nightingale of India.
Both are stalwarts in their own right and have made the country proud. I think they thoroughly merit this distinction. Besides, the Mumbai University has also accepted our demand that the delayed results of the first semester of First Year Engineering be declared in a maximum of five days. And, secondly, that at least a month be given for the ATKT exams before the next semester. I think this is great news for our engineering students.
