Cricket is a religion in our country and I wish that this sport does not get tarnished with politics and everything else but the actual 'game'.
It's sad to see the kids in my building discussing about the IT raids and underhand dealings in cricket instead of discussing what happened on the field.
As a kid, I used to discuss Sachin's sixes, Brett Lee's sheer pace and Shane Warne's spin wizardry. Lets get back to those good old days when cricket was always known as the 'gentleman's game'.
I like the display of aggression by cricketers on the field, but it should be checked so that it does not affect the spirit of the game.
