As an actor, you have innumerable characters to essay and each of them take you close tou00a0 adulation. My character Patrick in Once Upon a Time in Mumbaai has won me recognition. While I enjoy the feeling of my work being appreciated, what is on my mind is to still be able to live the life of the common man, to cross the road, shop in a mall and watch a film being just myself.
Robert De Niro still goes to the market on his bicycle, I read once. And Al Pachino still does stage plays with equal amount of passion. I would like us actors to be that way. With the change of medium the rules of acting don't change and with stardom, the fact that we are one among our audience shouldn't change. This thought has been playing on my mind, post the success of Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai.
