After reading Indu's (Balachandran) book - Don't Go Away. We'll Be Right Back, I am quite sure that the book will be lapped up by the 40-plus crowd from the advertising community. It's a delightful read, un-put-downable.
It is bound to make them nostalgic about the old days.
We understand the satire and wit of a different time. The new-age advertising crowd and those with three-four years in the industry will find some of the content quite alien to them. The change has been so drastic in the past decade that this chronicle is a great way to chronicle the Indian advertising time line.It read like fiction and was like a trip down memory lane.
