What really makes me sad is that in spite of the huge campaigns exhorting people not to waste natural resources, to save our environment, nobody seems to care.
Every government in the world isu00a0 taking serious steps to save our ecology from further degradation. But, look at the way people waste water. You see huge water pipes leaking on the road and it goes unattended for days on end. Imagine the amount of water gone to waste due to this alone. Tankers spill water all along the road.
Despite the widespread use of computers, we are still using such a lot paper. We still take pride in our lovely, wooden furniture. I use only metal furniture at home. I hear people saying that politicians don't do their duty and have a couldn't-care-less attitude. Are we doing our duty as citizens? We should ask ourselves if we are doing our bit. I wish we would.
