Considering the present scenario with the HSC results available online, I am worried about students who are finding it difficult to explain their fears to their parents.


Considering the present scenario with the HSC results available online, I am worried about students who are finding it difficult to explain their fears to their parents.

I am equally worried about the kind of reactions that will emerge from students on learning of their results.

I hope parents are considerate while interacting with their children, as it has already taken a heavy toll, if you bear in mind the spate of suicides that keep happening across our city and country whenever it is time for results. It is also a high-stress period at Aasra.

Our volunteers are under constant pressure to deliver. Of course, we ensure that the work is distributed and everybody gets breaks.

However, it remains a challenge for us. Finally, students must realise that life isn't about securing high marks.

Some of the most successful personalities, were average achievers in school and college. Students should instead focus on what they want from life.
