What happened in Lahore is indeed sad. The world should realise that terrorists can and will strike where ever they like to and whenever they want. We cannot change their mindset, but we can prevent them from causing further damage by being more cautious.u00a0
The Pakistan government, which did not respond to Indian cry that the terrorists responsible for the 26/11 attack are from Pakistan, is now blaming India for the attack on the Sri Lankan cricketers. They are holding us responsible for the security failure and have said that India wants to defame Pakistan. But Pakistani ministers must realise that tarnishing their image does not help us to fight terror in any way.
Pakistan must first put its house in order before pointing fingers at India. The Pakistani government is incapable of controlling terrorists on their soil. This is because they have a soft attitude towards terror groups. They are not as careful as they should be.
How else do you explain two gunmen loaded with ammunition walking straight towards a bus carrying international sportspersons and then escaping from the clutches of the police without being caught or shot at?u00a0u00a0u00a0u00a0
