Sharad Pawar claims that during his tenure as the agriculture minister in the previous government, he had announced a stimulus paackage of Rs 60,000 croreu00a0 for the farmers, and it was this package that enabled the Congress to win the elections.
Taking his claim at face value, he should be asked to eliminate the unemployment problem from India by bringing in Foreign Direct Investment.
As Maharashtra chief minister, Sharad Pawar revolutionalised the employment guarantee scheme.
So, as union industry minister, he will be able to perform wonders and take the country forward.
