Were released from hospital yesterday
Trishna and Krishna, the Bangladeshi twins who were conjoined at their heads at birth and surgically separated in a Melbourne hospital five weeks ago, were yesterday discharged from hospital to celebrate their third birthday.
Melbourne Royal Children's Hospital staff bid their two star patients an emotional farewell as they left hospital pushed in separate strollers by guardian Moira Kelly and a carer.
"We are absolutely delighted with their progress," neurosurgeon Wirginia Maixner said in a hospital statement released by a news agency.
