Anand Jon faces new rape charges

India-born fashion designer Anand Jon faced fresh multiple charges of sexually assaulting a dozen women, including teenagers, in a New York court. He pleaded "not guilty".

Jon, who was sentenced to 59 years in jail for raping seven young women, faces similar charges of sexually preying onu00a0 dozen young women --u00a0by promising them modelling assignments Prosecutors said, in one case, he allegedly threatened his young victim with dire consequences if she spoke about her molestation.

Defence lawyer Adam Freedman wouldn't comment on the new allegations.
