Organisers have rightly been praised for putting on an event which has seen more than a million people descend on London and some of the world's top musicians perform for the Queen.
But despite its astonishing success, the Jubilee didn't go quite to plan for everybody. During the Queen's carriage procession through the streets of the capital yesterday, one horse decided it was going to be a bit rebellious. As the procession weaved its way past the hundreds of thousands of spectators, the horse bolted and threw its rider to the ground.
Understandably, with tens of millions watching the event on television, the soldier was left looking somewhat embarrassed. TV cameras caught the runaway horse trying to make a break for it, however it was soon stopped in its tracks. The incident no doubt upset the rider, who is from the Princess of Wales's Royal Regiment.u00a0Despite this very minor glitch, the rest of it passed extremely smoothly. Ecstatic crowds cheered the Queen's carriage procession through the capital's streets.
