An Australian woman and her English husband got married for the 83rd timeu00a0-- on their way to saying 'I do' 100 timesu00a0-- as part of an Irish competition win that sees them travelling the world.
Mark and Denise Duffield-Thomas are now in equal position with the current Guinness World Record holders for the most weddings, The Cairns Post reported.
The newlyweds tied the knot in the UK in August 2009 and followed it up with a ceremony in Australia, and won the Ultimate Job in the World competition organised by Irish firm Runaway Bride and Groom.
Since then they have reaffirmed their love in dungeons, caves, a shark-filled lagoon and in the ruins of the private church of a hermit.
As part of the "job" they travel the world check out romantic destinations, write a daily 300-word blog, and write for the Irish Times newspaper. Over 15,000 couples applied for the job.
