US authorities had been looking for the pair since finding the body of the 47-year-old mother earlier this week in her upscale home in California.
The love birds went on the run after the murder and were arrested on Wednesday.
El Dorado County Sheriff's Department Captain Craig Therkildsen said the two were located by police at a restaurant.

It is still unclear which of the suspects committed the murder, or if both participated.
Dead for many daysInvestigators believe Witt was stabbed with a kitchen knife and had been dead for several days before being discovered. Co-workers said Witt had failed to show up for work last week.
The pair is being held on arrest warrants alleging murder, but no formal charges have been filed.
