An irreverent online game (pictured) in which a cartoon character of Italian PM Silvio Berlusconi is hurled into the air by a hammer thrower has been launched by anti-poverty campaigners Bono and Bob Geldof.
The game carries a serious message -- that Italy's record on delivering on its aid pledges to Africa is so lamentable that it should be thrown out of the G8 club of rich nations.
Called Hurl Berl, the game invites players to use mouse clicks to control the direction in which the Italian prime minister is thrown, and with what degree of force.
The game was created by One, the lobby group founded by Bono to fight poverty in the developing world.
"We want you to try and throw Berlusconi out of the G8 because he's let the side down once again," One wrote on its website.
