Hips Don't Lie hitmaker Shakira took away more than just sarees during her visit to India two years ago. The singer has revealed that Indian music features prominently in her latest album.

The album titled She Wolf is the singer's third English language compilation and the title track of the same name is already creating waves with it's racy video.

"I have music from India, the Middle East, a little bit of Colombian influences. I always loved disco, so the new record has disco elements, but also house, it's electro pop," Shakira told Vanity Fair magazine.

The release of the album had to be preponed after a copied version became available for download, but the 32-year-old beauty has already created a buzz with the sexy video where she is seen writhing around in a cage wearing a skin coloured leotard.

Shakira who is of Lebanese-Colombian origin is also showing off her signature dance moves, inspired by the Middle Eastern art of belly dancing in the video.
