Beirut: The Islamic State on Wednesday announced that it has executed two hostages from Norway and China who were captured in Syria, according to the terrorist group's online magazine Dabiq.
IS posted on its website photos of the two victims, who in September were identified as Norwegian Ole Johan Grimsgaard-Ofstad and Chinese Fan Jinghui.
The information was yet to be verified as the governments in Oslo and Beijing have not confirmed the death of either of their citizens.
Nearly two months ago, Dabiq showed photos of two men wearing yellow suits and next to them was a sign that read "for sale".
