They have both had a little help from celeb godfathers. Multi Grammy Award-winning Usher helped Justin get his foot in the door, and the latter's hit Baby promptly made him an international success. If you haven't seen it, here it is:
Greyson Chance was discovered by talk show host Ellen DeGeneres who publicized his school performance of a cover of the Lady Gaga song Paparazzi. During his appearance on the DeGeneres show, he received a surprise phone call from Lady Gaga who has supported the kid ever since. Ellen also launched a record label to sign on Greyson.
Our verdict
Although Greyson Chance seems to be following Justin's career path, he's far from stepping on his toes and climbing ahead any time soon. Justin's fans don't seem to be leaving his side, even as Greyson continues to win over a few thousand folk daily.
