Magazine shocks readers with breastfeeding cover

The mother said, "I grew up this way and never thought about raising my kids differently." She added that she has given up trying to reason with strangers who see her nursing her son and threaten to "call social services on me or that it's child molestation". "People have to realise this is biologically normal," she said. "The more people see it, the more it'll become normal in our culture. That's what I'm hoping. I want people to see it."
The cover has sparked a storm with many people accusing Time of "exploiting children".

However, Time's managing editor Rick Stengel defended the magazine cover. He said, "It's certainly an arresting image. Some people think it's great and some people are revolted by it. That's what you want, you want people talking." u00a0
