A man freed after spending 20 years in a Los Angeles jail for a crime a court has now ruled he may not have committed said that he was not angry.
According to the Los Angeles Times, Francisco Carrillo was released on Tuesday after a judge overturned his 1992 murder conviction for a drive-by shooting that left one man dead.
"I'm, personally, not angry. I don't want to carry that heavy load," the Herald Sun quoted him, as saying.
"It's overwhelming, it feels great. Justice has prevailed," he added.

Los Angeles County Superior Court Judge Paul A Bacigalupo did not make any decision as to Carrillo's innocence over the 1991 shooting but said changes in witness testimony and new evidence undermined the jury's original verdict.
Carrillo, 37, said his story should serve as a warning that sometimes the system can fail.
