Mexico drug baron Joaquin Guzman Loera has been named as the world's most wanted man following Osama bin Laden's death.
International security officials have been hunting for Loera for the past ten years after he escaped from a Mexican high security prison in a complex break out that reportedly cost him 2.5million pounds, the Daily Mail reports.
He is believed to be the man behind a bloody cartel drug war that has so far killed 38,000 people.
Loera reportedly heads a billion dollar drug empire, and possess personal fortune capable of rivalling Bill Gates and Warren Buffet.
The most wanted drug baron who has earned the name ''El Chapo'' because of his 5 feet 2 inches height reportedly runs shipments of tons at a time from Columbia into Mexico and on to the United States.
Loera is believed to be responsible for more deaths in the United States than bin Laden because of his drug transportation business and dangers associated with it.
He is accused of starting Mexico's cartel wars when his hitmen assassinated the leader of the Juarez cartel and his wife in 2004 in a bid to take control of the city of Cidudad Juarez, breaking the pact of non-aggression that had previously existed.
