A naked drunk driver, charged with high-range drink driving, spat on the cops when he was being arrested in Darwin.
His breath-alcohol reading indicated a value of 0.154 percent.
There was also a semi-clad woman passenger in his car allegedly possessing cannabis, who was handed over an infringement notice for the drugs.
"The 34-year-old man had a 27-year-old woman passenger said to be possessing cannabis when they crashed in Tiwi at about 4.15am Friday," the Courier Mail quoted the NT News as saying.
The naked man was aggressive towards police and ambulance staff and purportedly spat on an officer's face.
St John Ambulance deputy operations manager Steve van Gerwen said that people should be mindful of what they wear when they go out.
"You never know when you're going to have an accident so you should always wear clean underwear," the Courier Mail quoted Gerwen as saying.
