Obama was so obsessed by Entourage, which follows the life of an aspiring actor, that he rearranged his campaign committments in order not to miss an episode, said Robert Gibbs, the White House press secretary. "We would talk about Entourage all the time," he added.
"A couple of times during the campaign, we would have these Sunday night calls at the same time as Entourage.
"I remember one time I e-mailed him because the call was scheduled for the last 15 minutes of Entourage and I said, 'Just be late and we can just watch Entourage and still get on and do the call.'"
"And it worked," Gibbs said. "We got to see Entourage."
Despite his enjoyment of drama, Obama is not a fan of watching himself of television, rarely ever tuning into replays of his own performances. "We usually tell him how we think he did," said Valerie Jarrett, a longtime friend of Obama, who also tunes in to sport, especially basketball.
