The former military ruler came back to Pakistan after 4 years of self imposed exile to participate in the May 11 general elections.
However, the Election Commission of Pakistan rejected his nomination papers from all constituencies and Peshawar High Court imposed a lifetime ban on him to participate in elections.
Musharraf is currently facing a barrage of legal cases in police custody at his residence, which was declared a sub jail due to security concerns.
TTP spokesman Ehsanullah Ehsan issued a fresh threat to Musharraf in a video message posted on the Taliban website saying, "Soon we will punish this Satan to death for his wicked deed".
"From Balochistan to Waziristan, Musharraf threw this country in blood and fire, he is the killer of hundreds of innocent students of Lal Masjid (red Mosque)," said the TTP spokesman.
Musharraf, who escaped three assassination attempts when in office from 1999 to 2008, is a target of Islamist extremists because of his alliance in the US-led âwar on terror' and attempts to clamp down on militants.
A Pakistani court on Wednesday refused bail to Musharraf in the judges' detention case.
