William and his crew were scrambled from RAF Valley and winched her aboard from a sea cliff at Point Lynas. She was flown to hospital in Bangor.

"The only way to get her out was by RAF helicopter. The winchman had to give her pain relief," coastguard spokesman was quoted by the paper as saying yesterday night. The rescue came less than a week after William and his crew rescued a 16-year-old girl when she got into difficulties in the sea off Anglesey.
