Pakistan's intelligence agencies have arrested three men in the southern port city of Karachi for their alleged links to Mohammed Ajmal Qasab, the lone terrorist captured by India during the Mumbai attacks.
u00a0"The intelligence agencies had taken the three men into custody from different parts of Karachi because of their alleged affiliation with Kasab," the Daily Times newspaper reported.
The men were "reportedly taken to Islamabad and an investigation was in progress", the newspaper reported. There was no official word on the development.
The spokesman for the interior ministry could not be reached for comments. The three men were arrested by the Federal Investigation Agency and other intelligence agencies, it said.

The FIA last week submitted a report on its probe into the Mumbai attacks to the interior ministry.
The Defence Committee of the Cabinet is scheduled to examine this report during a meeting to be chaired later today by Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani.
Pakistan has said it will share the findings of its probe into the Mumbai attacks with India and the rest of the world by tomorrow.
