While Michelle opposes Obama girls' dolls...US First Lady Michelle Obama has termed as "inappropriate" the launch of dolls in the name of her daughters. "We feel it is inappropriate to use young, private citizens for marketing purposes," Michelle's press secretary said in a statement.
An Illinois-based company has released dolls in their collection as Sweet Sasha and Marvellous Malia doll. The company, however, said these are not based on Obama's girls.
...u00a0Obama action figures hit the marketJapanese firm Gamu-Toys has come up with a series of Action Man dolls inspired by US President Barack Obama. The dolls show him wielding guns, samurai swords and a Star Wars lightsaber. Another peaceful model depicts him standing casually with his suit jacket slung over his shoulder.
The toys stand roughly 12 inches in height. They come with interchangeable heads and hands and accessories, such as outfits and weapons that are not included as part of the basic package
