Celebrities and friends have paid tribute to British fashion designer Alexander McQueen. Victoria Beckham called him a "master of fashion, creative genius and an inspiration".
Supermodel Tyra Banks called his death a "huge loss", while Kate Moss said she was "shocked and devastated" at the loss of her "dear friend". Fellow designer Karl Largerfeld also paid tribute.

"There was always some attraction to death, his designs were sometimes dehumanised," he said.
British Vogue editor Alexandra Shulman said, "He was the most brilliant designer of his generation."
Pop star Cheryl Cole, who wore a u00a34,000 McQueen dress to her 26th birthday party last year, said, "Fashion has lost one of its most talented and inspirational figures."
