He had previously said that government ministers should take the Tube to slash government spending. But David Cameron doesn't appear to have listened to his own message in the age of austerity.
The Prime Minister just went and bought himself a luxury car costing more than ufffd200,000 (Rs 1.45 crore).
Cameron's new car has special bullet and bomb-proof security armour
The Jaguar XJ X351 model is specially modified for carrying Cameron and contains many features to stop a potential terrorist attack.
While many details are classified, Cameron's model reportedly features special bullet and bomb-proof security armour, run-flat tyres, bullet proof glass and even a self-contained oxygen supply.
The car also allegedly has gun ports for security staff to return fire should the car be attacked.
The standard model also contains a touch screen navigation system, massaging seats, and a 600W sound system with hard disk drive and media hub.
Cameron has said that his sole complaint about being Prime Minister is that he is unable to drive his beloved Honda CRV for security reasons.
During a trip to the Honda plant in Swindon, he told employees, "This beautiful machine sitting outside Downing Street, and I've not been in it for nine months. Just imagine the tragedy."
In the years leading up to his election as Prime Minister, Cameron could often be seen riding around London on his bicycle.
However, the PM-in-waiting had a run of bad luck when he had two bicycles stolen in the space of a year. His two bikes were stolen once in July 1998 and the second time in May 2009.

In the past, Cameron had chosen a Lexus over the eco-friendly Prius stating that the car was not big enough for his entourage and that two cars would have to be used to accommodate everyone
