England batsman Kevin Pietersen has said that he has no problem with Hampshire's decision not to pick him for the Twenty20 finals.
"I fully understand Hampshire's position in not selecting me for finals day. I wish them all the best on the day. I will be watching the lads!" Pietersen wrote on Twitter.
Hampshire has refused to pick Pietersen twice since he severed his ties with them, despite being released by England to play for the county.
On Monday, after England's victory in the second Test against Pakistan, Pietersen and three other players were released to take part in Saturday's Friends Provident T20 finals day at the Rose Bowl. However, Hampshire declined to select him.

Pietersen has previously revealed his desire to leave The Royals at the end of the season when his contract expires, as it is too far from his London home.
Meanwhile, he has been asked by England and The Wales Cricket Board (ECB) to find a new county by next season or risk losing his England central contract.u00a0
