Los Blancos are the clear favourites as they host a side who are just two points above the relegation zone.

However, despite Villarreal's disappointing start to the season, Karanka has warned the squad that taking all three points will not be an easy task. "We look at Villarreal as a team who created many problems for us last year," he said.
"They have a great coach, who has been at the club for many years, and they will create us many problems. They are a much better team than the table shows."
Karanka then gave an update on Nuri Sahin, who appears to be in the final stages of his recovery from a knee problem after he trained with the rest of the squad on Tuesday morning. "He has trained with the team for the first time and we are all happy."
