New Delhi: Cricket Association of Bihar secretary Aditya Verma has moved an application to Supreme Court for declaring N Srinivasan as ineligible or disentitled to hold the post of president of Tamil Nadu cricket Association.
N Srinivasan
The application was mentioned yesterday before the Supreme Court by Verma's counsel Rajat Sehgal for early listing and Court has directed it to be listed on October 5.
Verma, in his plea, has mentioned that "Srinivasan should be removed from TNCA president's post since he continues to have commercial interest in the events of BCCI in breach of Regulation 6.2.4 of the Regulations for Players, Team Officials etc.
Further, a restraint is sought against Srinivasan from attending AGM/working committee of BCCI as representative of TNCA. Alternatively, the Applicant has sought that the Justice Lodha Committee looks into these aspects."
