Life came full circle for Ambati Rayudu on Saturday. The toast of the Mumbai Indians camp, Rayudu was forced to address the media after popular demand from local reporters, who were keen to pose some hard-hitting questions to the youngster.
"Why did you run away from Hyderabad," was one of the hostile questions thrown at him. "I never ran away," pat came the reply.
Another journalist asked: "Do you expect the crowd to support you since you are playing at home?"
"I just hope they support good cricket," said Rayudu.
Next one was more sensation-seeking: "Some experts feel you have become too big for your own shoes. What do you have to say about that?"
At this point, the Mumbai Indians media manager wisely intervened and ended the media conference.
