Chelsea players took sacked manager Carlo Ancelotti to a top nightclub for a farewell party just hours after he was removed.
John Terry, Frank Lampard and Ashley Cole were among those who insisted Italian Carlo join them at London's Whisky Mist.
"They wanted to give him a proper send-off. It was a great night and Carlo really appreciated it," The Sun quoted a source, as saying.
Chelsea's billionaire owner Roman Abramovich axed Carlo, 51, after losing Sunday's final game of the season to Everton.
