Beleaguered Chelsea manager Andre Villas-Boas has described his team's 2-0 defeat to Everton on Saturday as one of their 'worst' performances this season.
He said his team's toothless play against Everton at Goodison Park was devoid of any positives for his side.
"I think today was one of our worst games of the season, if not the worst. In our performance today we are short of anything positive. It is a difficult day for us, we take out a lot of negatives from this game," The Sun quoted Villas-Boas, as saying.
Steven Pienaar and Denis Stracqualursi scored the goals for Everton, while under-pressure Fernando Torres once again failed to find the back of the net.
Chelsea fans jeered Villas-Boas and chanted "You don't know what you're doing" when he took off Michael Essien just before Everton's 72nd minute goal.
Villas-Boas said his team's inability to create enough chances despite having ample control of possession cost his side the match.
"We suffered very early in the game. We then had the control of possession until the end of the first half but couldn''t create enough chances."
"In the second half the game was divided between the two teams and we had no clarity. We were not able to create chances. In the end that lack of clarity punished us," he said.
