Rick Ponting's Australia are one wicket away from winning the third and final Test at the WACA ground. On the other hand, the West Indies are 51 shy of a famous victory at a ground where Australia have lost their last two Test matches (India and South Africa in 2008).
Set to score 359 for a win, the West Indies began poorly but prospered mid-way through the efforts of Narsingh Deonarine (82) and Brendan Nash (65).
Much depends on the last pair of Kemar Roach (13 not out) and Gavin Tonge (12 not out).
